CPD Scheme

  1. HKCHMA values the high quality and rigorous standards upheld by our Professional Members, ensuring they have met recognized training criteria. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is imperative to maintain and further enhance these standards. Through a dedicated CPD Program for our professional members, HKCHMA prioritizes ongoing learning and skill refinement, underscoring our commitment to excellence in mediation services. Upholding these standards not only benefits our members but also elevates the quality of clubhouse services provided to the industry and community.

  11. To provide each HKCHMA professional member with a personal development record;

  12. To be submitted to the HKCHMA Membership Committee for review for purposes of the renewal of accreditation.

    1. Each HKCHMA professional member shall be responsible for the accurate maintenance of his/her CPD Training Record Form and be invited to make a written declaration on his/her having undertaken the minimum hours of CPD in the immediate past Membership Year at each membership renewal exercise.

  13. In addition to the written declaration mentioned in Paragraph 11, every professional member of HKCHMA will be periodically asked to submit their CPD Training Record Form during each membership renewal process. There will be no additional fee for this review, as the cost is covered by the annual panel maintenance fee paid by each professional member. Maintaining an accurate CPD Training Record Form is essential for compliance with the requirements of the HKCMA professional member CPD Programme and relies heavily on the integrity of each professional member.

  14. Every HKCHMA professional member is required to document the dates, duration, subjects covered, trainer/presenter/speaker information, and other pertinent details of all events and activities that contribute to meeting the HKCHMA professional member CPD Programme criteria.

  15. The review of CPD Training Record Forms will be carried out by the HKCHMA Secretariat.  No later than 2 months after a CPD Training Record Form has been duly submitted by a HKCHMA professional member, the CPD Training Record Form will be returned to the HKCHMA professional member in question with an indication that either:

  16. Ensuring that the CPD Training Record Form is meticulously kept and that all requirements of the HKCHMA professional member CPD Programme are satisfactorily fulfilled to facilitate membership renewal.

  17. If the CPD Training Record Form has not been meticulously maintained or, even if it has been maintained properly, the requirements of the HKCHMA professional member CPD Programme necessary for membership renewal have not been fulfilled.

  18. The HKCHMA professional member CPD Programme Policy Document may be revised from time to time to reflect developments in the field of clubhouse management, changes in HKCHMA professional member requirements and refocusing on what constitutes good practice.
